Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. The parents of Matthew Matt James are Manny James and Patty James. He is the son of the Nigerian father and a Caucasian mother. In 2010 he graduated from Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James was first noticed when he was a Reality Actor in The Bachelorette. James was picked in the year 2020 as the new bachelor for The Bachelor season 25, being the show's first African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James was the ideal fit for his role. He's tall and handsome, with a good ability to laugh. Rachael Krakconnell, whom he had chosen as his partner through the remainder of the season. In 2021, he joined forces with the famous dancer Arnold to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold were ranked 12th.
